Bush Honey suckle for arrows ?

Any one ever use bush honey suckle for shaft material I found a few real straight shoots I was wondering if any one else has tried them before , or is it a waste of my time.

I believe gundoc and a few others have used it. I had some picked out to harvest but the state got there before i did.

HT, I've got three in my hunting quiver with hornstone points on them. They are easier to work than rose, but nothing like cane. Choose larger diameter shoots due to shrinkage. I still cut them in the winter when I find cause its local material. It's called Amur honeysuckle here ( Lonicera maackii )
