Very well done. Ill have to try it and see, if I can make a bow out of it then most should be able to make a bow from it.

BUSTED!  I crapped my knickers when I seen it. I knew I was in for it! Good job Ryan. Like the guys said, it was actually quite a shooter!

Wow, that's too cool.  Who'da thunk it would make a usable bow?  Anywho, now all you need is some poplar arrows to complete the set!

And then cotton wood and then maybe Douglas fir and every other wood that's considered bad bow wood

The trick now is to shoot a 1000 or more arrows through her. I will take it off my crap bow woods list if that happens.

Sorry I was a little late to see this post , should of been on top of it !
I watched Ryan take the first shot and pulled it out of his hands !
I hauled it back to full length of the arrows and let em fly !
I drilled three clays in a row with it then started hooping and hollering for the rest to shoot it!!!
Big fun !!
That novelty shoot is 3 shots for a dollar , we took in 20 dollars as fast as we could set the targets !!
Thanks Ryan for being a good sport , I never even ask if it was OK !
Too excited to see your bow done and shooting so well !!
Now I gota find me some Poplar for sure !

Laugh! Nice bow! I am still working on a willow deflex-recurve bow... It isn't going that good.

Thanks guys! I'm not sure if there really is a limit for some woods but I think it would be fun to find out! Maybe someday I'll find that perfect stave of balsa!  ;)

Guy, I'm glad it was able to raise a little money! You did a better job than I could have of getting the guys to shoot it.  ;D

Pearlie, I'll be sure to let you know how it holds up.  ;)
