Hi, everyone.
I wanted to show you all one of my recent oil paintings that I have completed to be used as a raffle item for our South Ga Traditional and Primitive archery club. I tried to capture the mood of a beautiful early Spring morning as a gobbler flies down off the roost. Hope you like it.

Been there, done that, and it still has my heart tripping! Flydown time is magic time!

Looks good to me, I like it wish I could paint like that. If I tried to paint that same Tom he'd probably look something more like a sage rat with wings

I like it! Dan, I call that time of the morning, "the witching hour", when everything gets real quiet and all you hear is the wup, wup, wup of the wings before the crash.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
