Some pyramids
« on: April 28, 2013, 07:12:14 pm »
Hi guys,

Been a while. Just letting the ones who remember me know that I'm still alive and doing ok. Still in the military and also been making a lot more bows. Here's some hickory pyramids I made for some people. They are all 45-50lbs @ 28". Sorry for no full draw pics. Didn't have anyone to take those. Enjoy.

They look good! How about some more specs like wood types, lengths, etc.?

Paul,
I put the lower notch in the bottom limbs for a bow stringer. I do this to keep customers from breaking them while stringing as well as even limb strain during this process.

Lesken,
These bows are all hickory, two dark stained for hunting and the other has linen on the back. The two longer ones are 68" ttt, the 55lber is 66". Hope this clears things up.

Thanks. I thought that lighter stained one was a different wood.

Hey Ms. Pink, I am glad to see you are still in the pink and making bows! (It's also nice to know you are still one of those standing between us and them, thank you sir.)

You are really beginning to own that pyramid design!  Nice!
