Maybe there is one lurking around back in the 10,000 islands!  I've heard that there are some hogs on the loose back there and Lord knows what else.  16 foot pythons, hybridized jaguar-panthers, and of course, the ever elusive skunk ape.  That'd be quite a kayaking trip. 

And after seeing Eddie and Pappy, gotta put in for gator tags next year and see what happens!

Well guys, I finally got her done.  bbbHere are a few pics I just took and I'll get a full draw pic as soon as I can later today.
She is 56 1/2" t/t, sinew backed with 3 courses of cow sinew and covered with diamond back watersnake skin from Cipriano. I was gonna use a pair of carp skins that Pearlie gave me but they just wouldn't work like I wanted them to. They won't go to waste, Pearlie
 I'm not sure of the draw weight but she is heavy! I'll check her on my scale later but I know it is off.
The tips are reinforced with yew and ipe underlays and have leather tip overlays. The handle wrap is hemp cordage set in Massey finish and she has 5 coats of Tru-Oil on her and Ill do a quick spray of satin poly to cut the shine.
