Mike, are you planning on getting any of those 2" suckers? I got one from you a few years ago at the Classic and I made 2 killer bows from it.

For now, I'll take one of each. Who know when we get to Twin Oaks.  ;)

It costs one way or another, blood and sweat as well as helping the land owner one way or another.
One of the landowners I cut Osage on wants any of the wood I'm not saving cut into firewood for him and another I work on his equipment when he needs help . It's worth it though , word gets around when you keep your brush piled up and clean up when your done and that opens other places up in the future .

OJ I feel ya on the back but what I would be dreading is debarking and prepping all those beauties. Thats where the real work begins. I guess your abs will be six packs by the time your done. Tell us how you survive that marathon event. I'd like to know.   Danny

Looks like I will have to have carpel tunnel surgery in the near future, debarked and removed too much sapwood with my draw knife from that "Free" osage I collected over the last 17 years, really took a toll on my aging body.

Don't know how Mike stands up to the rigors of his profession. I get cold chills just thinking about all the work he has ahead of him turning those great logs into one ring staves.
