Quiver (on a budget)

Side Quiver........It's 23" long with 3" opening.
I made this quiver from an old leather jacket. The sleeves were to baggy, had to use the back of the jacket and sewed 2 pieces together to get the size. To make the round opening I used a twig from some tree (don't know what species) but I was able to make a complete circle from it without breaking it.
I think I paid $20.00 for the jacket 10 years ago.

That's perfect, I have an old leather jacket that I've tried everything to get a weird smell out of but can't. It was free (smell included) so I think it will make a nice quiver and maybe even a few wraps for future bows! Thanks for sharing this!

When I was a boy I made my quiver from a scrap of carpet. Not quite as good as a animal pelt, but it served it's purpose.

Looks good. I did almost the same thing but with a boot. Works well and it was cheap.
