I broke another one this morning......unbelievable.   Actually not really surprised.   I know why it broke and it's my own fault.  Glued a backing strip to the back that was not long enough.  Stopped short about 7 inches from each tip.  Didn't think it would be an issue since they were levers and were not bending.   I thought I should still wrap it with something to hold it down but elected not to.  My mistake.  started tillering and it exploded as one of the ends of that strip lifted.  Oh well.  won't do THAT again.

Good thing I have another one tillered and shooting.  whew.   I was beginning to think I had forgotten how to make a bow!  I've broken or ruined more bows in the last two months than the last two years....
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Ha! Looks like it ended up in good hands. Your full draw looks way better than mine. It hardly looked more than braced when I drew it with my stubby little arms. Glad you like it, Jared.

Arrowind...ever the stoic.   >:D

Kinda happy I did not get that bow.  It would be a shame to have such a lame shooter like me handling such a sweet bow.

And as usual, there is lotsa nice stuff getting shipped off.  I am finishing off something that has cosmetic appeal, but I am afraid the tiller isn't up to the same level.  I ended up chasing the tiller around until I just had to admit I was losing too much weight.  I am going out to buy another new digital camera since the last one is stuck somewhere in Tennessee.  I hope to get some photos up next week.

Thanks everyone for putting out sincere effort in raising the bar for this year's exchange.

ok, sent my bow off today, hope it gets there, to big for post office, and had to override and give UPS special permission to attempt delivery anyway despite the po box. there is a physical street address w/a po bx thats why they will attempt delivery anyway.
    hope you like it  >:D

Cool Chuck. I have a few ways to contact folks. If it gets sticky on the delivery, just let me know.

I put the last coat of Tru-Oil on last night and have skinned out my beaver tail and it is drying for the grip.  I will make a string for it this week and hopefully be finished and shipped by the end of next week.  By the way Tru-Oil is amazing stuff, thank you all for turning me on to this finish.

Here's my progress.  I think it getting there.  It's 55 @22.  I have few more inches to go and about 2 ounce of mass to lose.  I'm heading back out to the shop.  Hopefully, I'll be shooting it this evening.

Sorry I look like such a bum. haha
