Thanks guys, if I can get a bow to stay together a little longer, I might get to practice up and shoot the course at the Classic.  That is my goal.  briarjumper12, we need to get together and build me a bow!  I have the "want to" and wood.  You have the equipment and the know-how. should work out just right >:D

Very nice!  Love the uniformity.  I have come to prefer working with river cane over wood shoots because they hold their shape so much better and are lighter than dog wood shoots.  Do you have a secret technique to getting them so straight?

Just heat treating and straightening by hand. Some required several sessions. The cane was a lot straighter than normal. No secrets here.
