File knives for trade
« on: January 26, 2013, 11:43:51 pm »
I have been making stock reduction knives from older carbon steel files for a while. I have made several self bows in the past and am just now getting started with two osage bows. Looking to trade knives for arrow shafting, fox pelts or bow staves. I have a few knife blades on hand and could supply one in about any level of completion for those who like to do it yourself.

Will you please post pics of your knives and show examples of the different stages you have available?

pics are of a leather case that I made for a friend that has a nice slender file knife, a killing spike and game shears. I am playing around with forging knives, but mostly stock reduction.
