Jon...  Do we "helpers" need to register as well???

Most on the time I will show up and just start helping someone with there first bow.
Usually someone that is chasing there first Osage ring and laying out there bow.
Once the bow is about 3/4 tillered I pass them off to someone with better eyes.

Only if you are going to build a bow,or plan on shooting. The problem we have is some come and build bows under the shed and take up all the work stations and don't plan on shooting or being in the Challenge, then the ones that want to be in it don't have a place to work. It a balancing act ,we want everyone to have fun and work on their bow if they like but also need to keep it open enough so everyone that wants to compete in the challenge can have room also, Jon done a very good job last year keeping it rolling along. It's surely a labor of love and not about the money but the only way we are able to pay for all the sandpaper/belts/blades [ 10 last year on the big saw and 4 on the small one ]and keep the equipment up is with the registration fee
we receive and then you get to work on bows along with shooting the main course once and the practice range all you want. Man what a deal, just all the free bull you will hear is worth that. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

10-4 Pappy.  Thanks.  I thought that is what I remembered.

If possible, I will bring my own Sawhorse/Vice.  Someone can use it.

It sets out in the rain all the time anyway so it should feel right at home. ;D

Me and Steve will be there on the 26th. Maybe the 25th. Anyway if I see anyone walking around looking sad I'm calling 911 because they have a big problem. I've made almost all of them and have always had a great time. I can remember when the members of Twin Oaks and the campers where almost the same number and now its turned into the best family reunion around. Heck I even hear tell they do something called shooting. I'll have to try that out.  >:D

I thought I was a pretty good bull shooter til I came to Classic.  I only hit the 6 ring compared to some of those folks.  haha

Ya their are a bunch of 10 and 12 rings hit in the Bull shooting Class. That's probably the biggest and toughest class we have to try and compete in.  ;) ;D

It's the only class I don't need to get lucky to hit 10s and 12s. ;D

If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Pappy, what length, width and tooth bandsaw blades do you use there, I work at a machinery supply business and we stock the material and weld them ourselfs, I might want to gift you guys some blades.
Jon, I know Donna is looking forward to seeing Bonnie, she really enjoys her company, not to mention I can't wait to see the kids.
Pat, we missed you guys last year too, it was like something was missing.
Now comes the long count down, vehicle maint, practice shooting, and coming up with a list of what to bring. I think the planning is almost as fun as the event.

Pappy, what would be too fun, if some of these BS-ers would take the stage for a "biggest story" contest.  That would pack the dinning area almost as full as Saturday's meal.  haha

Ya hedge but we would have to make it a 2 or 3 week event to get them all in. ;) :) :) Mark the big saw is 111 inch blade  3/4 wide 3 hook is what I nomaly use. That would be great but don't go to a lot of trouble. We nned to have fried cabage on the menu, ;) :) Mark when do yall plan on coming in ?
