How do you know your limitations if you don't try Greg? ;)

Hey Guy..send it back n ill put some of that yeller stuff on yours too...see ya in under a month buddy :)
Thanks Howard ...well..its not as easily bent as osage, but it does correct/shape easily enough..just takes a lil more heat n time than osage. And locust likes to be tempered, but be careful not to overdo it or let the heat wrap around and scorch the back. I've had a couple locust staves I've taken out 90 degrees twist, corrected string tracking,n induced some reflex all in one heating/tempering session.

Turtle the limbs are +/- 1 7/8" wide in the working limbs.

Thanks Steve...unfortunetly yours is not #4...it lost a teeny bit more weight when I weighed it over the holidays...it should be ready soon tho to be bending. Osage and that design needs patience...bear with me

Very nice Chris. I can't imagine getting a locust bow to bend like that. If I built it it would be fretted tip to tip.  BTW, those tips are extremely sexy!  8)

You are a freaking animal blackhawk!  I love how you push the limits.  Looks like another all around great shooting beautiful bow.
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso
