Tung Oil

Does anyone have any experience using tung oil over magic marker? I'm wanting to add some animal designs onto a elm belly and thought the markers might be neater than acrylic paint.
Thanks, Eric

Test it and see, Tung Oil is not that expensive. But hopefully someone has experience with this and would save you some time and trouble.

Depends if it's pure Tung oil or a Tung oil finish. Tung oil finishes have solvents that will smear most markers, except for alcohol base markers
