So, using the technique that people suggested, i was able to have zero pain in my hand, and at the same time got a decent point out!

Nice one! I love it when stuff starts to "click!"  (Notice I didn't say "snap" or "clink" those are bad sounds when knapping, very bad sounds...)

I agree Dave. My only problem is that i need more rocks soon. i know i have enough to get another 50 points, but after that i think i will be all out. Ive heard that the glass butes in Oregon is a great place to find obsidian and the like. ive also read about regulations, and it seems i can collect 250lbs per day of the stuff!

Nice point some people told me you can get 500lbs of obsidian.
