Pebble bows

I read this page at: http://www.atarn.org/letters/ltr_oct00.htm

Anyone know anything about these pebble launching bows? How would you hold it and fire it without smashing your bow hand to pieces? I'm very curious about this, never thought of using a bow to fire anything other than arrows. I guess it's just an unusual catapult really.

"Prosperity is a way of living and thinking, and not just money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking, and not just a lack of money or things."
