Pap I use a jack russel for tracks which are'nt much more than 2 to 3 hours old. He's found three for me already. Two of them still alive stopping them, with him buzzing around the deer like a bumble bee.No prior training whatsoever.Gotta put him on it with a dog lead though,It's pot luck when you turn him loose. He's a part of my family that's for sure.He earns his keep like the rest.

Man 2 or 3 hours old.  I wouldn't think he would have his eyes open that young.;) ;D ;D ;D  I am guessing you meant 2 or 3 years old. ;) :) I have heard they make a good tracker. We have to use a leash in TN. when tracking a deer.

Great hunt there pap, thats making meat right there. got to love them Tn. hills. Very nice Ol'stick you built there as well. hope to reach that skill level someday and build that same style and look.  If all goes as planned, we'll be in madisonville in the next week or so and round up a few. Thanks for sharing.

That is suh-weeet! That's exactly what I'm wanting to build to shoot at the Classic.  50 at 26.5" with flipped tips. Hope mine turns out half as good as yours, Pappy. Good job!
