Pat,
That dove looked great...been a long time since I had any. As for cooking squirrels, might try and boil them for 30 minutes or so prior to battering and deep frying! That's how we cook them at the club sometimes...

Pat,Try boiling all the meat off the bone and mixing it up like you are making Tuna salad.MMM,good on crackers or sandwiches.
