Randman - No meat last season, not the bows fault though.

Jon W - I really love this style also, as well as others.

Sadie - Thanks, have more that I would like to post. Like I said I owe you folks some pictures since I've seen so many of everyones bows on here.

Slim & Lesken - Thanks for the compliments. SB, some bows I like to leave natural shape, some I'll heat correct.

LE - Try the scallops man, you can do it. Made 3 so far without failure and if one does fail, well I'll just reach in the     woodpile and try again.

Blackhawk - Thanks, seen your locust bows on here, real real nice and they look like they can get the job done. this is one of five bl bows i've made, one fretted evenly through out the working section of both limbs but still no further degregation in a year. Matter of fact it is the top of the stave that the belly split for this bow came from.

Will & Judo - Thanks for the kind words I appreciate it.

Halfeye - I've viewed you beautiful bows so many times on here that I feel I know you. Yes it is 57" ntn which seems to be about right for my 25" draw in a hunting bow. Thanks for the compliments means a lot coming from you with your scallop bow building skill.

What you lack in computer skills you sure as heck make up for in bow making and arrow making. I hope you get them refined because alot folks are gonna like looking at your stuff....great job on that bow. Love the tiller

Gun Doc - Thanks for your compliment, saw your recent 5 curve osage man now that sucker is nice. As far as being down range of me with antlers if the antlers are big your likely ok, now if your a forkhorn odds go up in my favor. :)

That is an Awesome bow...the quiver and arrows look top notch also.

I have attempted three of those bows. Two out of elm that broke and one of hickory that I thinned to much and got a 25# pull weight. Will try again when time allows.

Welcome!  That is a fine looking bow.  A short D bow is hard to beat for a tool to hunt with.   I gotta try that scalloped edge effect.  Looks great and thanks for posting.  I am not too swift with the computer skills either.  Don't feel bad - I think most of the folks on here are more adept at stone age stuff than the new technology!  Show us some more bro!

yessir-would certainly like to see some close ups of  those arrows and quiver too!

the scalloped bows are lovely to behold.
i am the lucky recipient of two made by halfeye. even more lovely in person.
and a pleasure to shoot
tho i hardly get to hold one as the neighborhoods kids have claimed it as their own....
