Zuma,
I like that three piece hook so much I replicated it yesterday at work. Didn't get a pic of it yet but I will get one today.
Before that I made a two piece, but decided to throw away the shank half and wound up with a short shank hook.

Great ideas there 1442. I'll probably use them all if I get around to it. That short shank will take up less room in the tackle box.

 Good to see you Lymann.
Dern 1442, It seems to always happen on the last flake too. What's with that? >:D

@1442
your hooks are really awesome
do you think it could be possibile or useful to make some sort of barb on them?

You can put a barb on them, but it usually goes on the outside rather than the inside barb like a metal hook.

The barb on this one started out bigger, but apparently my pressure flaker thought it needed some unplanned reduction.

Very nice Dakota. I'm afraid I'm falling behind on the POM. Just to many things going on now. I love it when that happens.

I always throw my pressure flaker and a few preforms in my lunch cooler. Most days I can finish a point or two between smoke breaks and the last part of my lunch break.

Been so darn busy finishing up the school year, it's time to give the hook another try.  These look great, I've got to get my first victory with this.

The concept and skill level are awesome, but I'm not sure those hooks would get any bite. They don't appear to stick out far enough from the notch location. It would be easy enough to narrow the top if it needed it. Good stuff, I might give that a shot.
