Learning how to make arrows for the first time.
« on: April 17, 2012, 11:18:28 pm »
Hello I want to learn to make arrows for the first time modeled after the northeast woodland type. I need to know what kind of wood they I can use to build the arrows with. I know you can use reeds and other things but I don't know if these specific reads are near anywhere I live. I live in northern new York state in the eastern Adirondack mountains. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are quite a few example of north eastern archery tackle in tbb II  ;D

Probably red osier dogwood or one of the viburnums.
