Blimey, I tried to ship the miniature to the USA this afternoon... nope... too difficult. Can't send anything pointy or with feathers. Well I guess that rules out the arrow.
I expect it's because of bird flu or some such.
The lady on the counter was V nice about it and when I said what it was she asked if it was a dangerous weapon, I said well it does actually shoot but it's for decorative purposes.
It's certainly convinced me I shall never try to ship a bow to the States
.
Bueocracy eh, not designed for the like of us guys.
I'll ship it on Monday without the arrow, or maybe I'll take the point off the arrow, wrap that separately and make paper flights.
