Yeah, that's real nice! I don't suppose you could post its dimensions--length, width, tips, thickness...?

Thanks Cipriano!

UsernameTaken, no prob.  Dimensions are 58" ntn, 59 1/4" ttt, lower limb is shorter than upper limb by 2".  Handle is 4" long, 1 3/16" deep and 1" wide.  The limbs are pretty much 1" wide out of the handle and until straight 8" taper to tips.

Found an old arrow and wrapped some sinew at 27" from the nock to limit my draw, and flung a couple today.  These arrows matched the bow really well and it was more enjoyable to shoot , not having to worry about drawing past 27".  It is a fast little bow.  After shooting it, I went right to my pile of spray and roughed out a small bow from a 5/8" diameter stave.  The stuff is green and I am experimenting with kid bow staves to see how well it drys after it has been roughed out.  Sealed the belly with shellac and strapped it down.

Thanks for posting this. I just finished reading 'Hunting the Osage Bow', what a great book. I found myself nodding in agreement the whole way through. If I could write a book about archery that is what i'd be aiming for. Excellent read and really nice to see a bow of his now too.

Thanks Pappy Parnell and Keenan.

Mikekeswick, Hunting the Osage Bow is Dean Torges, this bow is by John Strunk.  I am not sure I wrote something confusing in the post or if you just need to put down that book and get some sleep! ;D

I am reading Hunting the Osage Bow right now too.  It is a great read in addition to being a great how-to.  I was reading "passages" aloud to my wife in bed last night.  She fell asleep, but I was grinning wide while reading "from the dark-side" and almost choked-up reading "tis the season".  It is a great book.  I would like to see one of Mr. Torges bows too.

What a Great Bow CMB!

A Bow fashioned by one of the Masters of the craft that we pursue.
That is almost as good as it gets.

Love the bow.
Been lusting after some Ocean Spray for a bit now.
And I'm betting the money went to a good cause to boot?

Thank You for sharing!
