That is hitting the nail on the head and true words for sure. If the world had more "Pappys" in it would surely be a better place.  Well said Jimmy. To your tribute I say Amen!

My Opinion:  Pappy is all the above and more.  He seems to be a magnet for good people who are willing to work for the life style he provides.  I am getting old and have met a lot of people over time and I rank him with the very best I ever knew!  A/Ho Joe

I agree completely! Being friends with Pappy through the years and seeing his generosity displayed over and over again tends to make you take a good look at yourself and ask hard questions. Sometimes the answers reveal a side you may not be so proud of...maybe that's what "passing it on" is all about. Learn from example...

Pappy is one of those people that'll make ya feel welcome no matter who you are or when. I'm blessed to have been able to spend some time around camp there with him. Thanks Pappy and i still want to build that cabin on the hill, haha ;).

Thanks Jimmy, this video made me think of years ago when Mark and I married and we were told what makes a good friend:

A friend is one who strengthens you with prayers, blesses you with love, and encourages you with hope....

We want to always be that kind of friend to everyone we meet.... Thanks again for all the kind words, but most of all, thanks for being our friend....
