Great looking bow. Once in a while you got to keep one for your reward. Looks like a keeper!

Its official. I have a 53# @ 28" healthy, baby bow. I shot it last night 30-40 times, she is a super screamer with a 10 skinny string on it. Wowser. I still have 3" plus of reflex. I will post some finish pics in the coming days.

Here are the stats. The bow is 63 1/2" ntn, 64" ttt. Its 1 3/4" wide out 12" from the fades. It gradually narrows from there to 1/2" tips, they  are flipped the last 9" of limb. Besides the unusally stiff lower limb....do you see any other flaws taht my eyes dont...BE HONEST? The extra stiff lower limb is intentional. After seeing every one of my bows take a little extra set in the lower limb, I changed my tune. I will go a 1/4" positive at times.  3/16" is common. Thanks for the eyes. The pics are different, but look the same.

Could be my bad eyes, but it seems to me the top limb has a really nice smooth arc, while the lower limb goes curve-straight-curve-straight. Kind of 'stepy'. As I said, it could be my eyes looking at a small image.
I am not talking about a stiffness in the lower limb, it just does not seem to 'flow' in a smooth arc.

The back is quite wavy right where your talking Bevan. Those eyes still work good!

OK, then I would say 'shoot the snot out of it' as someone else said on here.

(or start chasing a ring. you should have a name before long)

How does it feel at full draw Pearly. Feeling even limb strain? That's the important thing.

I've always maintained that it's not so much about making the lower limb stronger, but rather where. And that is the lower fade area. So if you do any more work on the lower limb do so closer to mid-limb.

Another thing, upright shooters as yourself do require greater positive tiller over those that cant their bows IMO. So looks like you're just about on the money. Good job....Art
