I'm bringing a benchtop bandsaw.  It won't hog out a 1/4 split stave but will work for trimming up.

I will get my hogging done before I leave. Thanks Matt. The panfish fry I had planned isnt working out. Our resovoir lake was flooded bad and screwed up the crappie spawn. I cant get enough right now to make a two person meal.........
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

That's not good !!

Why is the cost of living so high there ?
My daughter is looking for a place in west Virginia so she can get out of Penn. !

Man I am really bummed that you may not be there !
We gotta invent a telaport that actually works !!

I have to spend $1500 on our van so my wife can go to Penn. while I am at Marshall !
I hope every thing works out for you Chris !

Hey guys! I plan on attending this event as it sounds like a blast! I'm new to primitive archery as a whole and would like to learn from some of you more advanced bow builders. I've got a handfull of well seasoned osage staves, a drawknife and some scrapers. Is there anything else I will need to partake in the fun?

Thanks,
Dan

Welcome DGF!  Other than a tent or something to sleep in, you should have it.  We'll have tools you can use, if you fall short.  We will be set up under the new pavillion.  You won't be able to miss us.

Is Gary Davis planning on coming down to set up shop or just shoot?

I am setting up shop on Friday morning.  Gary only comes to shoot (and socialize), this one.  Likely on Saturday.

Sometimes the Man just smiles down on ya' Chris!

Cant wait to see you all and hopefully meet a bunch more in the process. I love our hobby and the gatherings are the frosting on the cake. I am skipping the semi trailer for my band trailer rather. By the time I add up all the this's and that's I need I cant fit it in my truck alone. Im bringing the shop minus my bench!

Spoke with Mike Damon this evening about fees.  I had a call earlier from someone who was wondering.  He said that the camping cost for the entire weekend will be $15.00.  (If you require electrical hookups which are limited, there is an additional fee).  The Course Shooting fee will be $7.00 per person for one day's shooting.  $15.00 for unlimited shooting the entire weekend (per person).

The fees were reduced from $20 last year.
