I am continually amazed by the depth and breadth of the stupidity out there.  When people rant against hunting, it hurts me deeply because there is a measure of truth in what they say about some hunters/shooters.  To those people, I always promise to be intolerant of the cruel hunters, the slob hunters, and those that just don't have the ethics it takes.

What they did ain't right.
Also, they call it a stray, but around here many folks let their cats out to run about, so who's to say?
When I had cats, they went out when they wanted to.

The Heck of it is, this is RIGHT by my house!
Looks like a Crossbow Bolt to me.

Unfortunately there are a quite a few ne'er-do-well types that frequent this area.
This does not suprise me in the least.
I do keep my eye out for what shouldn't be.

  Doesn't look like a "hunter" did that to me, he would have used a broadhead and nobody would have known it. The jerk that did this should have his a## kicked down Mainstreet by everybody that lived in that neighborhood.

After watching Animal cops Dallas, Huston and Philadelphia, I know folks are prosecuted for animal creulty - get some prints off of that bolt and stick the guy in the slammer. There are a few other things that could be done....

I hate to see any animal suffer.He should have used a .22 hollow point. I know I'll get flamed but sometimes people just get fed up with having to put up with other peoples animals.I know I do.

My neighbors dogs pee on my tires and crap all over my yard.Their the kind of people that would just get mad if you said anything to them and try to avenge themselves on you for having the nerve to ask them to keep their animals on their own property.

Many times I've been tempted to put a dog down but I feel sorry for the poor dumb animal that is only doing what dogs do.If the $%#@&& owners would just be responsible for their animals this kind of thing wouldn't ever happen.

It seems that the type of person that would have made this shot can't help but brag about it to someone.
Hopefully this Odd Individual will get his or her tail feathers salted for it.

I'm not against taking a rogue animal down if the situation merits it.
At the same time, like many folks here, I Hate to see anything suffer.
A Quick, Clean kill, is what I strive for.
Whether hunting deer and hogs, or removing a threat to family and livestock.
