Thought I would take the opportunity and make a hybrid arrow. I incorporated an insert for screw-in tips and a illuminated nock on a cane shaft. 4 fletch banana cut.

Really don't know what kind. I bought it at Bass Pro. No washer. I just drilled the end out at the node for better strength and then epoxied it in. It has a switch in it, when the string is released, it compresses the button and lights up.

Good deal, I need to do this for hog hunting. It's really tough to see your arrow shooting in the dark. I used Easton Tracers when I shot aluminum arrows out of my glass recurves. Just doesn't feel right to shoot metal arrows out of a self bow. I believe those are the Nockturnal brand lighted nocks. Lumenoks aren't reliable enough when shot out of a self bow. Tracers need a magnet on the bow. These sound perfect. Thanks.

my thoughts exactly George hogs area getting wild up here and need to be taken out fast before it is too late. and did not think illuminnocks would work unless you had a 200ft/sec or better bow but was not sure on it. but thanks for the info
