Short Mulberry Stave
« on: December 22, 2011, 02:46:40 pm »
Hey Folks Im looking to find a nice short mulberry stave 45-48 inches long to make an Apache style bow. Preferably free of knots and twists with most of it being heart wood. Let me know if you got anything and what you would need for it. thanks

Have any boo shafts to swap Cesar? I think I have a short red mulberry that may make two bows. Im thinking its dead flat and about 4-5" wide. The sapwood is about 3/4" and the heartwood about 1 1/2". The rings are about 1/2" thick. It from a MONSTER tree cut and split 8-9 months ago.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
