Pappy I would imagine David has passed on by now. I really will miss that guy, we had some great conversations. Couple months ago he sent me his unfinished staves and I knew he was getting close. He showed a lot of courage throughtout his ordeal. Steve

This sounds kinda' morbid but I have been checking the Memphis area obits every day for news to pass on to all of David's friends, no news so far.

I'm sorry guys.  I was between a rock and a hard place.  Hopice care folks reckoned my condition at the time that to the pain pump, to slow my breathing enough to keep me alive, might to also let me awaken.  So I had to go all in so to speak and now I just keep waking up every day.  I wouldn't trade it, but can't take it back.  Have posted since wondered were it not the foolish move, egotistical.

Eric, I'll see you get notified.  No need to check the obits.  Byhlia, Ms is where mail comes.  Old home cementary is Valley Hill Methodist, very small private interment there.  Serive in Olive Branch at Brantley Funeral home.  No arrangements made yet.

Sorry for the fubar guys.  I am truly late to my own funeral.

David,

I am happy about the added time. Here's a poem for you.

Do not go gentle into that good night
by Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Cipriano
I was HECHO EN MEXICO, but assembled in Texas and I'm Texican as the day is long...  Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

I admire your strength and courage in these times, it sounds like you are loved and admired by lots of good people on here and im sure all over. My family and church will keep you in our prayers, the power of prayer is a very powerfull thing so dont write your self off yet God will take you when he sees fit.

I've always heard of it...but I can now truly say I know a man who was late for his own funeral!
You and your family have been, and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, Shannon

Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.
