Well here are a few pics of my latest projects, materials used are brain tann smoked mule deer, Sinew, red osier dogwood, Osage orange, Pigment and rock paints, and Hoop Iron...Uggg man stuff! LOL  8)

Modeled the points after sioux points in the book shown, long and nasty wouldnt you say?

Sinew backed osage slight recurve, dogwood arrow. 47" 48 pds @23"

Beautiful work as always.  I have a question about those short bows and arrows.  Did the shooters use an anchor or was it sort of a floating draw?  I was under the impression that those are for shooting off horseback, primarily, but I really don't know much about Plains bows.  Bill

Indian Guy:  I like the whole setup and the way you used all of the natural materials.  The points too, they looked like killers!  Very nicely done.
