Siyahs and Flipping the tips?

OK........ I got to ask............ I've seen mention a couple of times now which has piqued my curiosity. What are "siyahs", and what do you mean by "flipping the tips"? I couldn't find those words in my Bowyers Bible.
Thanks,
Dave

Siyahs are the rigid levers on the limb tips of Asiatic horn bows that the string attaches to. "Flipping the Tips" refers to bending the limb tips into reflex. This can be as little as a very slight reflex to as much as full recurve tips.
