Get him to join!!! Then I'll have someone on here who's actually my close to my age! Tell him I'm impress it took me three summers of shooting probably 2 hours a day to get that kind of accuracy at 20 yards... I can't believe he got it down that fast... Must have been the teacher...

same, the thing im worried about is that in a year i want be able to make bows in college, luckily most choices are close

I like these quotes on top of other quotes haha, but yeah man im apllying all instate this year so hopefully i can drive home and use my dads shop like i have been doin lately. Another thing is u could just bring your drawknife, scrapers, tillering stick, and a couple other small items with you to college and just find a storage area for ur staves (or a willing friends dorm/apartment/house). So i dont think we'll be completely cut off but it'll definitely hurt to be away from the house without all the usual nifty tools(I.E no more usin dads bandsaw )

Rich, your generosity continues to shine and I hope it always will.
 And you young bloods worrying about space to build , don't sweat it. I have built many a bows in hotel rooms and dinky apartments. I'm a railroad engineer and haul tools and stave's around for something to do in my downtime. Of course short bows are perfect for this and the amount of tools are minimal. I use three. A scraper, a sureform, and a tillering gizmo.
