this is a light # bow that I made in about5 hrs total working time, maple backed gonco alves with glued on recurves/ walnut tips. it was bending to much at the fades so i took some belly cuts off of a red oak bow steamed them and bent to match the fades and glued them on. It's 25# @ 25", just a good starter bow for a kid or woman to get into shooting, 66" ttt and 1 1/4" at the fades

not counting the glue dry time this bow build went fast, tell me what ya think, Bub

Bubby, Really like the color contrast, and looks to have the classic longbow profile. Your finish work is top drawer, as usuall. what is there to NOT like?

Man,

I'm liking the looks of this bow a lot.
Like the way you built up the Bit-O-Recurve there.

finally got time for a money shot, this wood seems to make a nice bow but i was thinking it would be simallar to epe, and it's not, works real nice but it's a little soft, i think it has to have tip overlays to be safe, but it does work nice, Bub
