Nugget to keep you busy so aren't just tapping your fingers you are in charge of the birthday candles...so go find 57 candles for the cake all different so as to represent each individual year Ole Pattyboy has lived.  ;D

How did you get the calander to convert Pat's birthday to modern numerals and our current system of timekeeping? From the way I understand it, back when he was born they didn't even have regular numbers- it was like the year MCXVIII or some such  ;D

Scott, If you get here and nothing is going on, just wait a minute and it will start. Actually Dick will be camping Thursday night so you can't get here too early. I'm guessing most will get here around noon or after but whenever you can come, come on. ;)   Pat

Well Calendar girl all project requests have to be summitted before monday. But i will try to round up somethin on such short notice. By the way you gonna have to make one big ol cake to hold all that fire. Heck the cake probably gonna melt before He gets them blew out.
Here Pat my kids made this for you, incase i don't get no candles

I see that we won't need to bring any firewood. All those candles will provide plenty of heat and light, and we can probably roast us a pig or two over the cake. My only worry is that when we light that sucker, the fire lookout tower on Mt. Pisgah will see it and send one of those big tanker planes over and drop a load of water on us........................... :o

Hillbilly,
that is part of Pat's plan...When you hear them coming pull out the soap and shampoo! ;D  That is how he can claim shower facilities on property. ;)  Keeps the stink away ...just a bit. :o

OK everyone interested, a weather report.  Mid 80s during the days and low 60s at night. Chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers. Better chance of rain showers on Sunday...just in time to pack up. Nothing like wet camping stuff to deal with later. >:(  Oh well! that ain't never stopped me before. ;)
I'll put up some signs for you as you get close. Dick will be here sometime tomorrow so he and I will start setting things up. I do a dump run first thing in the morning then set up the 3D targets and other shooting areas. Knapping area ready, I added a 12x 24 tarp out from the open barn so we will have lots of cover from the sun or whatever ::). Tiller tree set up and all work table tops are clear of things. ;D
Anyone have any questions or need directions please let me know.
...and as far as the birthday thing that Marie brought up ::), Your presents is presents enough! ;D
