Thanx for the great comments!!! Its the closest type of chert I can find in my area and I usually get one to 2 buckets...good enough for me and sometimes u find the most amazing pieces better then the one in the picture. I found some that natives took blade cores off of...maybe I should have kept one to show u all next time!! Thanx again!

Thanks AncientArcher76. I thought that was the name of the point because I searched for Esopus and didn’t come up with anything about rocks, just that it’s the name of a river and town in Ulster County, New York.
