If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

thanks for all the comments guys. i hadnt even considered the savages, glad yall mentioned them. I'm really just looking for something that shoots stupidly small groups for a relativly low price. wish i could afford a hill country custom rifle lol, but i cant so i have to try to find a factory gun that will be accurate and fun.

P.S. not entirely sure why i want this thing, longest shot i ever made on a deer was 80 yards and i cant find a range to shoot over 100 yards, but i still want it lol.
lets just shoot it

I've got a Remington 770 in 7mm RemMag and love it. Never thought I would like a synthetic stock but one season in the feild cured that.

I can't say about other guns as I seldom shoot modern anymore (mostly flintlock or matchlock these days), but I have had a 700 BDL in .270 Win. for 21 years and I have filled a few freezers with it.  I love the gun and it is accurate as all get out.  My dad also has a 700 BDL in 6mm that he has had since the early 70s (not sure the exact year but IIRC, it was prior to '75) and he has had GREAT shooting with his.  Last winter he got this buck at almost 700 yds.

what more need be said?  ;D lol. another plus for the 700 is that it should be extreamly easy to find replacement stocks, triggers and whatever els a fella may want for it.
lets just shoot it

Bought a  BDL in .308 new in the mid 70s, super accurate gun, even with factory ammo. Don't shoot it anymore but will never get rid of it, too many good hunting memories with that old rifle.
