Just another hedge bow, * better pics at the bottom *
« on: May 21, 2011, 11:44:46 am »
As usual Im a horrible bow centerfold picture taker. My wife is in DC and took the good camera. This is a semi working handle osage bow I built from a stave my friend Clint (a.k.a. Osage Outlaw) gave to me to work. Its 63" ntn, 54# @ 28". The handle is a temporary wrap until I decide for certain where the arrow pass wil be. Its finsihed with 8 coats of Tru Oil and thats about it. Pretty plain Jane bow...................just what I like!

Feel free to edit the pics all you want, if possible. I cant seem to get the size thing figured out. Im a little better at building bows than operating cameras...................or anything with power going to it!

Well the photos aren't crappy, they're really nice, and they just need resized.

And that bow looks golden to me. Simple is good.  :)

I agree, the pics are fine, just a little too small.   If we try to enlarge them they won't look as good.  I wanted to say they appear to be thumbnails, but they're a little larger than that.  Not sure your best approach.  I'd wager the originals are quite a bit larger.

That turned out good.  I'm glad you were able to squeeze a bow out of it.  How does it shoot?   I wish the pics were a liittle bigger so I could get a better look at it.

looks really nice PD. bend in the handle bows are just cool to look at and shoot. Can't go wrong with osage either.
