Late season Osage run

 ;D Got a chance thanks to my brother in Oak. to go cut Osage heres what it looks like so far.

Looks like a pretty good haul?

I'm always scouting for good Osage and  found one on the job site today that made me all giddy! Got permission to cut it whenever I get the chance. Never to late to cut wood. IMO ;D

I agree.  Looks like some nice osage.  The season for me is when I find some I can cut.  I cleaned my desk at work last Friday and found the numbers of 2 of the guys that let me get osage earlier this year.  I was so excited...gonna call them both here soon.  Congrats on your wood.

I think it was a drought area rings really thin. should make good bows.

Nice run for sure! Lotsa bows in there. Looks like ya got a honey locust in there as well..

Osage and black locust.
Here is part of the haul as well.  ;D  Katt didnt mention we cut it in the rain and hail. it was awfull! The things we do for Bow wood. ::)
