qoestions on backing and bending. if i make a recurve-rawhide . in what order do i curve, back,bend,stain,finish tiller the wood im mutilating this time. i seem to get things out of order. thanks. you guys are advancing the art of bowering. butch

I floor tiller,do what bending I need to do,Rawhide back,or stain depending on if I want the rawhide stained or not,if I do I satin after Tillering, If I don't I stain before I put the rawhide on,Then tiller,shoot the bow in and then finshh last.

thanks pappy. i didnt know if i could glue after stain, bend after backing ect. incidently, the wife says i could be your twin if i wore overalls.
