Thanks for the very nice comments fellas !!!

I didn't get the measurements of the finished bow, but I did call Warren (in Maine) this morning and he should be getting the bows on Monday. I'll get the necessary measurements and post them Monday afternoon, or as soon as possible.

wvarcher, That's what it is, along the lines of a southern Inuit....without the cable backing....and added the slightly recurved tips.

Tatoo Dave, roughed you out a short NA bow, draws 50# @ 10" right now, close grained red elm......PM me yer address and I'll get it out to you. It's about 49 ntn. will post a pic if ya like.

Sparrow, my bows are fully quatersawn "boards" that we cut ourselves....dont know if a stave would do the same. Just wanted ya to know.

Nice bow! - but shouldn't a paddle-bow have a more elliptical tiller? The narrow middle should bend less than the wider middle limbs - if one want's to distribute the stress evenly along the bow.

Here are those dimensions on the bow.....Warren drew out the entire bow and snail mailed it......
                                                      Fully quartersawn Black Walnut
Width @ center of the bow 1-1/2"
         @ 1/4 mark from the grip 1-11/16"
         @ 1/2 limb, 1-7/8"
         @ 1/4 mark from the tip, 1-3/8"
          @ tip 3/4"
Thickness @ center of the bow, 3/8"
          @ 1/4 from grip, 3/8"
          @ 1/2 limb, 5/16"
          @ 1/4 mark from tip, 9/32"
          @ the tip 1/4"
