Those burlap bags filled with plastic grocery bags make great targets. Hung sidways they are similar in body size to a deer.

that and old clothes. One of the projects I have in mind if I can get some.

I am wanting to attend and bring my 7 year old son.

What do I need to bring to attend?
Are there other kids that attend?

I have a about 2- 55 gallon drums full of eastern red cedar scrap pieces in various thickness and size and lots of palm leaves for braidng rope or other projects. Would folks want these things for free? Just want to pass em on, but not to the landfill
plenty of kids around.  great creek to play in as long as its not up.  I'd say bring your stuff someone will have a use for it.   as far as what to bring depends on what you want to do.

Thats great news about Chris,I have to round him up a couple of large stumps for his anvil and vice,
Chuck if you get there early we may have to go cut them but that ant a problem,I will try and have that already done. Napping/bowbuilding/arrow and feather making now blacksmithing ,who could ask for more. :) It's closing in on us,so much to do and so little time. :) :)

Hope I didn't get too carried away with all the food business. If you'll let me I'll be glad to help with some stuff as long as the miller lite keeps flowing.

Hey Bear, If you're patient I could make you one when I get there. Round up some leather and copper rivets for the handle.

Bear, I had to wait a whole year for Chris to make my knifes and hawks, and now you get to see him make you one at the Classic...  Just like Pappy says "Life is Good"

Pappy,  I'll be up Tuesday evening and don't plan on doing anything official.  All you have to do is give me some direction and I'll be happy to do any work you guys need help with.

I am very excited about all the variety of stuff going on this year.  I've been making a couple of knives lately but it will be nice to be around some people that actually know what they are doing.  CAN'T WAIT!
