Here's a couple I made yesterday, first ones for the new year. Finally got above 30 degrees so I took advantage of the heat wave an managed to make these . Hope ya like em. Later Bob

i was at a knapin on new years day. made a beautiful big biface (flint ridge) broke it going for stupid thin
new years resolution is to quit smoking. i am gonna have to think of something else calming to do when i break a stone. lol

rwaterman, the dovetail is mahoghany obsidian, an the thebes is knife river I believe. Not sure but Ithink punkinseed an Mahoghany osb. may be same stuff, Thanks Jesse.  Rwaterman, just start another one, very calming ::) Bob

Nice points ! I recognize the mahogany right off, the other is some really pretty stuff. Yeah, punkin is just more mahogany,but without the black. I've got some that is almost punkin,but has big black polka dots in it.( Dalmatian obsidian ? Ha ! ) You go down there and you see everything and stuff you have never seen.

Nice work! I think the material on  that other one is Rainy Buttes silicified wood from N. Dakota.
