Rand, that was my Colorado elk hunt trip in '06 with Kenneth(Little John). I have Elkie back now for a total makeover. Have strippd her of sinew and snake skin, cleaned up the old glue and induced some reflex and did a bit of tip adjustment. Will start re-sinewing her again so she will be ready to hunt elk again next Sept.  ;)    There is a wealth of info in the past issues of PA. I have a copy of every issue right next to my chair at home.

I just go with the flow, TJ and let the wood tell me what it wants to be!  ;)
Very sweet bow Pat.  I liked this statement that you made. Often I see bowyers decide they want a certain style of bow and it is not suited for that type of wood or particular piece of wood.  the skins look great and love the exposed tips.
