Finished plains Bow!
« on: November 01, 2010, 11:22:55 pm »
Hello there folks i just finished this bow on saturday. Its a plains double curve bow 42 inches long and draws 20 inches at 45lbs. The bow is made out of mulberry and is sinew backed then snake skin backed. About the only thing it needs is some horse hair and thats it. i will be donating this bow to the ppl at paleoplanet for their yearly raffle so it will be sad to part with it but im sure someone will find joy shooting it. Here are alot of images of it and me jaj hope you enjoy em :) oh yea i think one of the limbs is just a tad longer. the first pics where taken from a side angle so they look like one limb is of. Now for the ARROWS!

God bless

Thanks DC, pappy, George, Parnell and hunter. Parnell one of the nocks is a side nock. and on the top has another type of nock to tie some horse hair on it.
