i almost just wept.  :'(

i recieved a large box containing a gorgeous frame from one-eye. in it were points from damn near every flintknapper on the primitive archer site. the frame is beautiful, the points incredible, and this caveman feels overwhelmed by what he received . its like a gift from everybody. thanks everybody and thank you very much scott.

What an awsome gift! And what an awsome gesture for Scott to include so many PA knappers as part of the gift.  8)  8)  8)

Hey All,
So it looks like it has been a success for all.  We only had one snafu and that seems to have been fixed.  If you have NOT received a gift will you please send me a P.M.  If you have NOT sent your gift also please send me a p.m.
Thanks guys!
Do you all think it was enough of a success to do again next year?

It has most definately been a success!  What beautiful work the members of this site have gifted to others.
I would suggest for next year that we have the draw earlier, say Sept 30th so that the cut off date to send could be early December.   This way most gifts should make it to thier giftee before Christmas and the members could open them at the same time, December 25th!

I would second the earlier start, and add how much I have enjoyed following this exchange. I will admit to being more than a little intimidated by what I have seen. Truly awesome tallend and aweinspiring generosity.
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

I would think the earlier date would make it easier for the gift to make it to the destination on time. I am definitely in for next year.

I'm in again, but need the days before Christmas when work slows down to complete the gift...

I'm in again for next year.  Earlier start date would be better for me also.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
