Thank you, Russ and Frank!  I am really starting to like this HHB stuff... It is as tough as hickory without all the stringfollow.... At least in my experience.  :)

Same thing happened to me yesterday when recurving the tips of a bow. I was thinking of roughing out the damaged wood completely and then glue a new piece of wood over. You only glued the new piece over the cracked area right?

Thank you Tbod!  I just filled the crack with superglue then applied the patch over the whole works.  It just seemed to be a safer alternative to trying to dish out all the broken wood first.

Thank you ChasingCrow!  ...I guess I DO need to change my design they are starting to look a little bit the same.  :)
