here is one i finished today the hickory was the belly side of a roughed out bow that devoloped a drying crack down the limb and through the handle so i split the bow the back became the black walnut hickory and the belly with handle still attached became the back of this bow. 62 inch 1 1/2 at fade tapering to 3/8th tips 42 # @ 28 , not sure what the handle wrap is i inherited it with some basket making material looks like twisted grass or something. thanks for looking

Wow, I don't know if I've heard of someone salvaging a stave to make a backing with...
Way to save some material!

found a little eastern king snake run over on the way home from work so i decided to throw it on  one of my favorite target bows hope yall like it . like i said sorry to drag this one back up but i wanted to show the finish product off !!

OK ken, Ya can make a bow that shoots either way up and down....ya can make 'em so they shoot frontward and backward.....and still get picture perfect tiller.....dont know what yer smokin, but can I get some please :D That eastern king snake is flat out pretty, never seen one before but got to believe it'll be good cammo.
