i did stain the bow with minwax dark oak stain then i did 3 layers of poly after stain dried.

it was a great feeling to shoot the bow after completed...knowing i had made it was awesome!

 Nice lookin bow there! Next to Hickory, Red Oak Is my favorite wood,, so far,,, Good tiller, and nice lines, it aught to be a real shooter!
