I came out ahead on this trade.

Shore did! Here's a point, couple of blades and a knife I got in a trade from Sawfiler for a box-o-rocks ;D. You outdid yourself this time Shannon! Here's my smiling face with the booty. Think I may put these together with some others from Shannon in a display. Absolutely beautiful work!!!

That was payment for a whole lot more than just one box of rocks :)  I believe it was several   boxes of rock, hours  of phone instruction, tons  of inspiration and just because I know how tired you get of looking at that ugly old grey Texas flint ::)

There is a saying for that kind of grin, but can't be repeated here!!!  Shannon's skill is beyond legal!  He sent me a knife that is perfect front to back and side to side!  Joe

That is cool and I agree that I'm lucky ;D. I dunno Shannon - You've sent me more than just a bunch of raw rocks is worth in my opinion. I'll keep sending rocks if ya wanna keep sending me finished quality stuff like that ;D. What is that saying Joe? You got my curiousity up now ::).

::)  I had the same grin when I received the knife.  Worked out great as I had a big Piute skinner and needed a small gutter!  What should be against the law is that this young fellow managed to skip several years of learning to advance to the artist level.  Joe

He's just as good at making bows and knifes as he is flintknapping! Not hardly fair is it? ;)

I'd bet if he tried hard enough he could come up with a few quarters too, Paul.  ;D
