Pappy, you need one of those transporter things set up in your shed like ol' Scotty on Star Trek had. You could just beam us all down there every weekend-"Beam me up, Pappy!"  ;D

Just got back from the yard sale...would have rather been enjoying some of that "Life is good" stuff if you know what I mean, and I think you do!  ;D

Justin, didn't have any staves for sale in the yard sale...most folks just don't appreciate the important stuff like we do. I did get rid of the last modern archery item hanging around in my basement. Had one of those little cheap compounds like you'd buy for a 5-6 year old.

Got home in time to shoot my bow, helped me to relax you know. ;)

We I had a good weekend again at the cabin, kind of lonely tho.just me and the dogs.I got a lot done.Redone a bow I made it 2003 for a good friend that he said was to heavy,re tillered it to 48@28 and put some horn tip overlays and done some more writing on it.Turned out good.
Also had some Turkey wings to work up and a snake to skin.Worked on my wood lathe and made some handled for my files and reworked my tillering stick.Trimmed my snake skins that I had skinned a few months back and cooked and set by the fire .the moon was beautiful and I think it was Mars
right beside it at least that is what I have been told. Also went out and freshend up my salt licks
for the Summer,I have around 10 scattered around the place, don't hunt over them but it seems to keep the deer happy.I also started on my BL bow I have be wanting to start ,just got it floor tillered and on the stick for the first time, may finish it this week or weekend. Here are some pictures hope you enjoy.

Pappy is right, take time to remember this weekend. I have a few flowers to lay down myself...

I have to work this weekend, too. With the HH classic and Cloverdale coming, Mr. Slagle has to get a few things done for momma....

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

d.tiller, if they are longbows (not too recurved) a 4" sewer pipe will work.  i was told, you have to let the air-line know ahead of time that you're carrying oversized sportsequipment and they'll let you check it.  justin can tell you all about the sewer pipe, cause that's how he mailed my bows.   ;D

Marius, you can fit a lot of stuff in a 4" sewer pipe cant you.  ;D
David,  you can fly with them, but always call the airline and make arrangements so there are no surprises.  It is much cheaper to mail them with the USPS.  Justin
